Scott Mitchell began his company
over twenty years ago, developing innovations
in public affairs and litigation communications
techniques long before these disciplines even
had a name.
Mitchell became the first communications professional
in America to offer his litigation and advocacy
insights for Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
credit. Mitchell's pioneering blend of public
affairs skills, campaign tactics and trial and
litigation support techniques are utilized by
many of America's top corporations, trade associations
and lawyers.
One other aspect sets Mitchell apart from many
in his field: his record of business success.
Few other consultants know the field of business
and law like Scott Mitchell: not only is he President
of his two-decades old firm, but he is also an
officer and shareholder of several successful
management consulting firms in Texas and Oklahoma.
In addition to his companies, he serves as television
and radio analyst for CBS affiliate NEWS-9 and
for WKY-AM in Oklahoma City. His firm performs
a number of pro bono services for child advocacy
groups, voluntary health organizations and seniors'
groups in such states as Florida, Oklahoma and
Texas. Mitchell is a member of the Board of Directors
of Community Health Charities (CHC) and Court
Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) in Oklahoma.
He is also an active member in the Association
for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) and the
American Society of Trial Consultants (ASTC),
where he serves on the Visibility Committee.
Mitchell is a 1980 Graduate of the University
of Oklahoma School of Journalism and prior to
beginning his company he was a television news
producer at the NBC affiliate in Oklahoma City,
and later the Public Information Officer at the
Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.
Scott and his wife Kandyce live in Oklahoma City
and are raising three children Sean, Liberty and
Joey.
